All our expansion joints are studied and designed specifically to comply with our clients’ needs. We have achieved the highest safety standards by engineering products using reliable calculations, verified by state-of-the-art software.
We are authorized to affix the CE marking, indicating compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU), to our products.
Expansion Joints are designed, analyzed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the following design process:

EXPENSION JOINTS DESIGN: APPROVAL
In cases where the bellows integrity under pressure is not validated by the results of the design calculations using EJMA standards and the geometric complexity indicates the need for further optimization of the project, Giorgi Engineering can verify the integrity of the product with finite element analysis (FEA), using ANSYS® software.
The technical approval and the results of the analysis obtained in accordance with the terms of the specified design standard are provided as a technical documentation package, complete with valuation reports.
Giorgi Engineering uses software that has been tested and validated in close collaboration with respected institutes such as TÜV, BUREAU VERITAS and LLOYD’S REGISTER who use it globally.

Over the years Giorgi Engineering has become increasingly attentive to the quality and extent of the documentation that accompanies its bellows.
The company has introduced a dedicated software to manage traceability of all the materials used in any specific order, integrating this with our design software and guaranteeing the integrity of all the materials used. The software also produces reports of the internal tests and quality inspections results.
The reports can be sent separately or supplied with the bellows, allowing the client to reduce facility downtime to the minimum before the installation.
This rapidity in supplying the documentation ensures that at the time of the offer the client already has all the technical details necessary to make an informed evaluation of the proposed standard and personalized solutions, such as the project specifics, Industry 4.0, and the project code.
Whatever the type of documentation required, from the simplest with just a few certificates to the most complex, Giorgi Engineering has the experience to guarantee compliance.
We supply EJMA bellows calculations as standard documentation, which can be integrated with an analysis of all the component parts, including various methods of stress analysis, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) etc.
- WELDING DOCUMENTATION
Provided in compliance with 15600 (PED), AD 2000, ASME IX and welding qualifications such as EN / ISO 9606, EN / ISO 14732, AD2000, ASME IX.
- ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION ON REQUEST
We will supply any bellows documentation required, such as inspection certificates, compliance with EN 10204 3.1, Declaration of conformity (DoC), Conformity certificate, Inspection and Test plan (ITP), measurement report, coating report including the technical fact sheets.
