Produzione / Join
K-FLEX rubber joints represent the ideal solution for conveying pressurized fluids.
Thanks to their wide range of applications across various industrial sectors, they allow the elimination of coupling gaskets, simplifying installation and reducing maintenance costs.
They offer high resistance to fatigue and corrosion, remarkable acoustic damping capacity, and at the same time feature reduced axial dimensions and low weight.
K-FLEX Joints with Flanged Ends
hese joints have a molded body with a single wide-radius convolution.
The external surface is protected by an additional tubular waterproof layer of elastomer.
They are available in EPDM, NBR, Hypalon, and VITON, with flanges in ASTM A105, ASTM Tp. 304, and 316.
K-FLEX Joints with Unions
These joints have a molded double-wave body made of several layers of diagonally woven nylon fibers embedded in rubber, allowing flexibility between layers.
The inner surface, the collars, and the outer surface of the body are coated with a tubular waterproof elastomer layer, preventing fluid penetration and protecting the exterior from atmospheric agents.
They are available in EPDM and NBR. On request, fittings can be made of stainless steel or bronze.
The unions can be made of galvanized steel, or in AISI 304 or 316.
K-FLEX Anti-Vibration Joints
These joints feature a cylindrical body made of EPDM elastomer.
They are installed in pipelines near pumps, compressors, valves, and operating machines to prevent the propagation of sound waves by absorbing small vibrations.
The body contains no metal parts in contact with the conveyed fluid or counter-flanges.
Inside, there is a pair of carbon steel flanged inserts.
Starting from DN 80, to counteract the thrust effect caused by internal pressure, the pair of flanged inserts is complemented by internal carbon steel tie rods acting as spacers.
The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar, and the maximum continuous temperature reaches 100 °C.
They are available with UNI PN 16, UNI PN 10, or UNI PN 6 flanges.
